# Ultra Subscriptions

> Build recurring revenue with subscriber-only video content

Subscriptions let your fans pay a monthly fee for access to your private video library. You set your own price, post videos, and build recurring revenue.

## How It Works

1. **Set your price** - Choose any amount from \$5 to \$1,000/month
2. **Post videos** - Upload videos to your library
3. **Fans subscribe** - One-click subscription from your profile or posts
4. **Get paid** - Recurring revenue deposited to your account

## The Product

Ultra Subscriptions is a video-focused product. You create and post videos, people subscribe to watch them.

* **Video only** - At this time, we don't support pictures, audio, text posts, etc.
* **Video library** - Subscribers see all your private videos in their feed
* **Private paid comments** - Comments on videos are private paid messages to you
* **Tips on videos** - Fans can tip you directly on any video
* **Aggregated feed** - Fans see videos from all their subscriptions in one place

## Setting Your Price

During onboarding, you'll set your monthly subscription price. You can change this anytime in Settings.

**Price Range:** \$5 - \$1,000/month

<Tip>
  Most successful performers price between \$5-\$20/month. Higher priced subscriptions typically involve a secondary offering (coaching, training, etc.)
</Tip>

<Info>
  Price changes affect all subscribers. Existing subscribers will be notified and need to agree to recur at the new price.
</Info>

## Content Visibility

When uploading videos, you choose visibility:

| Visibility | Who Can See | Max Length |
| ---------------- | ------------------ | ---------- |
| Public           | Everyone           | 10 minutes |
| Subscribers Only | Paying subscribers | 60 minutes |

Subscribers can see both your public and subscriber-only content. Non-subscribers see a paywall with your price and a subscribe button.

## Comments = Paid Messages

When fans comment on your videos, those comments are delivered as private paid messages to you. This means:

* Every comment is a monetization opportunity
* Comments are private between you and the fan
* You can respond privately
* Your videos don't have a comment section under them for you to moderate.

## Tips on Videos

Fans can tip you directly on any video. You'll see the tip as a message with the post attached.

## Promoting Subscriptions

**During Live Streams**
Your subscription appears in your live chatroom. Viewers can subscribe with one tap without leaving the stream.

**On Your Profile**
Your subscription price is displayed on your profile. Non-subscribers see a "Subscribe" button.

**On Subscriber-Only Videos**
When non-subscribers try to view locked content, they see your price and a subscribe button. You can share links to these posts on social media to drive subscriptions.

## Cancellations

When a subscriber cancels:

* They keep access until their current billing period ends
* They can reactivate anytime before the period ends
* After the period ends, they lose access to subscriber-only content

This is the same model used by most subscription platforms - fair to both you and your subscribers.

## Best Practices

* **Post regularly** - Subscribers expect consistent exclusive content
* **Mix public and private** - Public posts attract new subscribers
* **Promote during streams** - Live converts really well to subscriptions, stream a lot
